Step into the world of Hay Al Zabaleen, a remarkable neighborhood known as Manshiyyet Nasser, where an impoverished community thrives through their unwavering commitment to sustainable practices—collecting, sorting, and recycling Cairo's rubbish. Within this unique context, the project aims to propose a Symbiotic Gateway: Empowering Sustainable Practices through an Educational Center in Hay Al Zabaleen through designing a monumental educational and research center. The gateway not only opens doors to an extraordinary location in Cairo but also serves as a catalyst for the community's access to expanded facilities, services, and spaces to further their sustainable endeavors.Through its awe-inspiring architecture, this soaring structure harmoniously blends the vertical and horizontal planes, symbolizing the triumph over obstacles and embracing connectivity. The building acts as a beacon of resilience and exposure to the vibrant tapestry of life.
